Our Story

Residentually was built on a simple belief: every home deserves to be cared for with intention, detail, and heart. What began as three individuals helping neighbors, solving problems, and supporting local homes has grown into a company rooted in service, trust, and an unwavering commitment to raising the standard of property care on Cape Cod.

Before Residentually took shape, Brian Hemler, Bob Schmidt, and Devon Patane had each spent years immersed in home operations and property services from their own unique perspectives. As their paths converged, they recognized an opportunity—not just to care for homes, but to elevate the entire system that supports them.

They believed property care should feel personal, not transactional. That homeowners deserved reliability, transparency, and peace of mind. Co-Founder & Director of Strategic Growth & Partnerships

A licensed real estate agent and seasoned professional with over 16 years of experience in property management, Brian brings unmatched market knowledge, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of Cape Cod’s housing and property services landscape to Residentually. He previously led Massachusetts operations for a national hospitality brand, where he built a proven track record of scaling businesses, optimizing processes, increasing profitability, and cultivating strategic industry relationships across the region.

Brian is widely respected for his steady leadership style, analytical approach, andcommitment to service excellence. His ability to refine systems, mentor teams, and guide long-term planning ensures Residentually operates with efficiency, precision, and the forward-looking vision required to remain a market leader.

Bob Schmidt

Co-Founder & Director of Operations & Client Experience

With a diverse background spanning business ownership, large-scale operations, and process optimization, Bob is both a licensed real estate agent and a recognized innovator in the New England property management sector. Over the course of his career, he has partnered with some of the region’s most influential operators, helping shape best practices and elevate standards across the marketplace.

Bob’s strength lies in his ability to analyze operational challenges, implement scalable solutions, and lead high-performing teams through rapid growth. Renowned for his strategic mindset and willingness to embrace emerging technologies, he continually enhances Residentually’s systems, service delivery, and overall client  experience. His leadership drives the company’s ability to scale sustainably while maintaining the
personalized service homeowners depend on.

Devon Patane

Co-Founder & Director of Field Service & Technology 

A successful entrepreneur and visionary leader in property management, Devon founded DW Total Property Management and grew it into a company overseeing maintenance, project management, and homeowner service operations in more than 400 homes across Cape Cod. Under his leadership, DW Total became a trusted behind-the-scenes partner to many of the region’s leading property firms, supporting their field operations, maintenance workflows, technology integration, and client service
programs.

Devon’s 20-year background in networking, software, and marketing for Fortune 500 companies gives him a unique ability to blend technical expertise with hands-on operational management. Known for his focus on innovation, systems building, and client satisfaction, he brings a modern, efficiency-driven perspective to the industry. His leadership in technology, vendor coordination, and operational strategy positions Residentually as a cutting-edge, service-forward organization prepared for long-term
growth.

Patricia Powers

Director of Client Relations & Service Delivery 

As a seasoned property management professional with extensive experience in high-end residential portfolios, Patricia brings a strong operational and client-focused background to Residentually. She previously owned and operated a boutique management agency, overseeing an extensive inventory of luxury homes and coordinating specialized services for discerning homeowners.

Known for her concierge-level service, strategic problem-solving, and ability to cultivate long-term homeowner relationships, Patricia excels in balancing high expectations with seamless customer experiences. Her leadership, market knowledge, and commitment to exceptional service elevate Residentually’s standards in homeowner engagement
and client satisfaction.

Wilson Chaikittirattana

Director of Marketing & Hospitality 

With more than fifteen years of experience across hospitality, international education, and property management, Wilson brings a calm, service-driven leadership style to Residentually. As the former co-owner of DW Total Property, he oversaw daily operations, client support, and property standards across a diverse residential portfolio. His experience creating social-media content and managing small-scale marketing
efforts naturally informs his clear communication style and thoughtful approach to marketing and brand presentation.

Before entering property management, Wilson held leadership roles with major hospitality brands, guiding large teams and elevating service quality in high-volume environments. Fluent in English and Thai and holding a master’s degree in Intercultural Relations, he brings strong cross-cultural communication, operational precision, and a commitment to warm, memorable client experiences.
